Host teams identify the need. VER assembles qualified volunteers and coordinates the equipment, supplies, and travel logistics the work requires.
Specialist teams support evaluation and surgery for children selected with local clinical partners. Current surgical work is focused on strabismus.
02Optometrists assess visual acuity and help identify who may need refraction, glasses, or further local follow-up.
03Refraction determines the prescription a patient needs. Screening projects include optometric supplies and glasses for distribution.

Shared clinical work
Hospital and Ministry of Health teams identify children for care and manage the local clinical process. VER contributes qualified volunteers, equipment, supplies, and project logistics.
